Here is important information from the board.
During the night, a small fire was discovered in some bags on the terrace side of our property, near the tree by the neighboring association’s parking area. A member of the neighboring association noticed this and acted quickly by contacting the police, who arrived promptly and were able to extinguish the fire. No one was injured.
We would like to inform you that several arson incidents have occurred on Stora Essingen in recent weeks. These have taken place at night, including in green recycling containers, a vehicle, and in the vicinity of residential properties. Last night, a house a few hundred meters from our property also burned down.
The police will install a mobile camera in the area to help increase surveillance. Members of the board will also patrol the property and remove any loose materials that could be easily ignited.
We ask all members to:
- Be observant, especially during evenings and nighttime
- Avoid leaving flammable materials easily accessible outdoors
- Immediately contact 112 in case of suspicious situations or ongoing fire
We are monitoring the situation and will share further updates if more information becomes available. We hope the police can quickly identify and stop the person responsible.
