Here is an update from the Board on what is happening in the association during late summer and autumn.
The new gate is in place
The new gate to the courtyard has now been installed and is in place.
Renovation of the former coal cellar will begin soon
Preparations for the renovation of the former coal cellar are complete, and work will begin shortly.
As part of the work, an area of approximately 4 × 8 metres to the left of entrance 24 will be excavated. From week 35 onwards, vehicle access to the courtyard will therefore be severely restricted. We ask all residents to be considerate and to follow any signage and information provided by the contractor during the work.
We understand that many of you are tired of major projects. Renovating the roof of the former coal cellar is not something the Board had planned in advance. The need for the work was identified during last year’s property inspection together with Nabo. The Board would have preferred to postpone the project, but as the concrete in the roof, and eventually also the walls, is deteriorating, there is a risk that the cellar could collapse, including as a result of vehicle traffic in the courtyard. The work therefore needs to be carried out without delay.
The recycling cabinets are being installed
The new recycling cabinets are scheduled to be installed on Tuesday, 2 September.
The window renovation enters its final phase
The window renovation has now resumed after the summer and is entering its final phase. Work in Flottbrohuset will continue over the coming weeks.
Autumn clean-up day
The clean-up day will take place on Saturday, 24 October. Please save the date. If you already know that you will not be able to take part, please feel free to email the Board. We can then assign you a task that can be completed on another occasion.
More information about the day will follow closer to the date.
Please feel free to book the pergola this autumn as well
The pergola can of course also be used during the autumn. Booking is made through the same system as the laundry room, and more information is available on the website.
