Here is an update and summer greeting from the board.
Balcony and window renovations
The final measures following the balcony renovation are now being completed, including painting around the balconies in Flottbrohuset. The window renovation in entrance 20 will be completed this week and possibly continue into the beginning of next week. The project manager at Fog och Fönster is in contact with the affected apartments. After that, the work will pause and resume in week 33 with Flottbrohuset.
Replacement of the concrete roof in the old coal cellar
In week 33, Stockholm Balkong will begin replacing the concrete roof in the old coal cellar, which is located under the gravel path between entrances 24 and 26. The concrete roof is deteriorating and needs to be replaced before winter to avoid the risk of damage to the walls as well. The work is expected to continue until week 45. During week 38, in mid-September, a few days of demolition work will take place, which will involve high noise levels. We hope for everyone’s understanding.
The blue key
We have had a few cases concerning the copying of door keys and would therefore like to remind you to keep track of the blue plastic key (see image) that all members received in connection with the installation of the security doors. Without it, you will not be able to copy new keys and may need to pay for a new lock cylinder. The blue key belongs to the apartment and must be handed over together with the other keys in connection with a sale. Please make sure to store it in a safe place.
Bicycle parking
The association offers several options for bicycle parking. At the four outdoor bicycle parking areas by entrance 26, Flottbrotrappan, Flottbrovägen 23 and Terrassen, only bicycles used for daily commuting should be kept. There are also 10 commuter spaces available for rent in the garage. These are currently fully booked, but it is possible to join the waiting list. Bicycles that are used less regularly should be stored in the large bicycle room, located down the ramp from the garage by the exit.
Barbecue utensils
Take the opportunity to book and use our lovely pergola for barbecuing this summer. We have now purchased some barbecue utensils, which are hanging in the pergola. Please remember to lock the utensils after use. The entrance key fits the padlock. The grill plate is stored in the barbecue.
