Hello neighbours!
Here is some information from the board about what’s happening in the association this autumn.
Balcony renovation
Unfortunately, this project has been delayed due to objections from the City Planning Office regarding the design of the railings. The board, together with our technical property manager Nabo, requested some adjustments for practical, aesthetic, and cost-related reasons. However, the request was initially denied and is currently under appeal. As a result, we are now losing the seasonal window to carry out the project this autumn. Therefore, the renovation is now scheduled to begin in April 2025.
General measures
The board has renegotiated our cable TV contract with Tele2, resulting in a cost reduction of around 40%. This and similar measures have freed up room in the budget for more proactive maintenance of the buildings. For example, the fence on the “terrace” was repainted in September and fitted with new capping rails to avoid a full replacement in a few years. It is now set to last much longer, and will soon be complemented by lighting along the entire fence, as well as lamps at both gates to improve comfort and safety.
We can also report that both buildings have been secured against rats by Anticimex, in order to prevent recurring issues.
The new commuter parking spaces and the renovation of the bicycle storage area are nearly completed. More information will be sent out as soon as everything is in place.
Fix-it Day – Sunday 20 October at 10:30
It’s time for the autumn Fix-it Day, and we will gather in the courtyard at 10:30. If you are unable to participate on that particular day, you are welcome to choose a task from the list (which will be sent out in advance) and email the board to let us know that you will take responsibility for it at another time. It’s important that all members of the association contribute so that we can maintain a pleasant living environment together. A list of tasks will be sent out one week before the event.

Wishing you a great start to the autumn!
