Hello everyone,
First of all, we would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who joined us for last weekend's gardening and maintenance day! We managed to get a lot done together and also enjoyed some time socializing over burgers by the grill.
The Board truly appreciates the strong engagement among our members. It's wonderful to see so many people contributing to making our housing association an even better and more pleasant place to live.
We would also like to share a few updates on the ongoing and recently completed work around the property, as well as an important reminder about our new recycling facilities.
Any remaining issues with balconies and windows
The balcony and window renovation projects have now been completed and approved. Any remaining damage to the exterior plaster will be repaired shortly. We have agreed with both contractors to coordinate a final round of inspections and remedial work for residents who are still experiencing any issues, damage, or defects with their balconies or windows.
If you have anything that needs attention, please notify the Board no later than November 1, including a brief description of the issue. If you have already reported a problem but want to make sure it is included in the final list, you are welcome to submit it again just to be safe.
The Board will then compile all reported issues, after which the respective contractors will contact the affected residents to assess and, where necessary, resolve them.
New courtyard deck structure on Badstrandsvägen
Last week, the Board had a progress meeting with the contractor, Stockholm Balkong, regarding the courtyard deck renovation. The project is progressing according to plan, and the concrete pouring for the new deck structure is scheduled to begin on Wednesday.
According to the current schedule, the entire project is expected to be completed during week 47 (November 16–22). Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the construction work.
Important! Please flatten your cardboard boxes before recycling
We would also like to remind everyone how important it is to flatten and fold all cardboard boxes before placing them in our new recycling bins.
Unflattened boxes take up a significant amount of space and cause the bins to fill up very quickly, even though they could otherwise hold considerably more. This means that your neighbors may not have room to dispose of their recycling, and the housing association may incur unnecessary costs for additional waste collections.
So please, help out by always flattening your cardboard boxes properly. It only takes a few seconds but makes a big difference for both your neighbors and the association's finances.
Thank you all for helping keep our recycling facilities functional, tidy, and pleasant for everyone!
Kind regards,
The Board
