Dear neighbors,
The balcony renovation is now approaching. As you have probably seen, the contractor, Stockholm Balkong, has posted notices in both stairwells and mailboxes. Here is therefore a final update from the board. During the project, all questions related to the renovation should be directed directly to Stockholm Balkong’s contact persons.
After the weekend, all balconies must be completely emptied. Please reach out to the board or ask a neighbor if you need help moving heavy items. We also ask you to respect fire safety regulations and not place any belongings in stairwells or attics.
The contractor will assist with dismantling and reinstalling awnings that do not extend all the way to the wall. You do not need to notify the contractor if you have such an awning, as they, together with an awning expert, will assess which awnings need to be dismantled. Naturally, the aim is to dismantle as few as possible.
In week 37, concrete chipping will begin, and we have now received information about the order in which the work will proceed. However, it is not possible to provide an exact schedule for how long each section will take, as it depends on the condition of the balconies. Work will start on the terrace at the balconies of No. 26 and then continue section by section along the terrace. After that, the balconies in No. 20 facing Flottbrovägen and the stairwell will follow, then the three on Flottbrohuset, and finally the two in No. 26 facing Badstrandsvägen.
In two weeks a site hut will be placed in the parking lot outside No. 26. It will remain there throughout the entire project. We therefore refer you to the two other guest parking spaces in front of Flottbrohuset.
Kind regards,
The Board of BRF Klädstrecket 24
