Hello everyone,
We have finally received the official start permit from the City of Stockholm. However, the permit allows us to begin work only four weeks after it was issued. This time period is intended to allow for potential appeals. In our case, no appeals are expected, but unfortunately the city planning office still included this clause in the permit, and it cannot be changed afterwards.
We will therefore begin setting up the scaffolding in week 41. To make this possible, all balconies and patios must be completely cleared no later than Sunday in week 40. We understand that it may feel frustrating that you already had to clear your balconies earlier, and we truly apologize for the additional inconvenience this has caused.
The concrete removal work, which is the most disruptive part of the renovation, will take place according to the new schedule during weeks 42–45. Work will start on the balconies on the “terrace side” closest to Gammelgårdsvägen, then continue around the short side facing Flottbrovägen and Flottbrohuset, and finish with the two balconies in entrance 26 facing Badstrandsvägen.
After this, the construction work will continue, with a planned break during the Christmas and New Year weeks (weeks 52 and 1), until approximately week 7 of 2026.
We understand that this updated schedule or the previous meeting may raise questions. Therefore, we invite you to a new information meeting on September 23 at 5:30 PM in the garage. You are most welcome if you have questions or if you were unable to attend the last meeting.
