According to our statutes, an ordinary general meeting must be held once a year before the end of May. An extraordinary general meeting shall be held whenever the board deems it necessary.
The ordinary general meeting is held every year, usually at Essinge Church, within walking distance of our property. During the meeting, we review the past year’s events, the association’s finances, and plans for the future. Submitted motions are read out and voted on. If needed, the board may also call extraordinary general meetings during the year to address important matters that require a decision. Proposals in the form of motions that a member wishes to bring to the annual general meeting must be submitted to the board no later than 1 February, unless the board announces a different deadline.
